Alpine Cattle Drive in Kelchsau

When the cattle return from the alpine pastures to the valley, the people in the Region Hohe Salve celebrate. The “Almabtrieb” (cattle drive) is one of the most beautiful traditions and customs in Tyrol.

Early in the morning the cows and calves are festively decorated with colourful flower arrangements. This
